Handa Island is a wildlife reserve tucked away off the north-west coast of Sutherland, UK. Me and my partner were priveleged to live and work on the island as the Rangers for two summer seasons. The island is host to internationally important colonies of seabirds, including guillemots, razorbills, kittiwakes, fulmars, great and Arctic skuas. With crystal clear bays and 123m high cliffs, it boasts spectacular scenary as well as wildlife.
